Iceberg straight ahead!
We saw our 1st iceberg!! It was really cool. I get emails that tell me where icebergs have been sighted, and finally there was 1 close enough for us to drive and see. So last night after work we headed north, along the coast and spotted one. It seemed so close to the shore; it was right behind people's houses. Could you imagine if that was the view out your window everyday. It was truly beautiful. We hope to see many more!

Cool! Maya is now wondering if you live in Antarctica because she plans to explore it when she is grown up in 100 years (her words not mine). Also, she is asking you if you have any penguins where you live. Please, for the sake of excitment tell her that they are sleeping mostly next to your igloo :D
You know this fab piece of info will be all of her JK class come next week!
That's super cool!! And I especially love that there is an email notification you can receive about icebergs.
